An evening with prize-winning Poet Zeina Hashem Beck. The Poet read excerpts from her new book “To Live in Autumn”. “These poems come from somewhere deeper than the heart. They carry knowledge and an awareness of what it is to be human, to be a woman, to be raw with the constant anguish of a broken homeland” (Frank Dullaghan, Irish Poet). Zeina Hashem Beck is the winner of the 2013 Backwaters Prize. To learn more about Zeina Heshem Beck.
